Since all of the shutdowns in the history of retro came with a bit of an announcement I guess we have still some time to enjoy.

? I haven't seen anything that would suggest it's going to shut down soon. the mods are active rn and I've seen mention that they are actively making plans/working to change the site. idk what the rest of you have seen to make you think its days are numbered rn?

these people thought they'd gain a bunch of Kiwi users by opening back up. they're not actively maintaining it in any way (eg.- moderation, making their presence known) but thankfully they still didn't close again.

To be fair they did gain some users from Kiwi.

I prefer not to think about it and just enjoy while it's working. It was already shut down once. I only hope if they ever decide to shut it down again, they tell us with anticipation so we can say goodbye or interchange other ways to contact with the people we really care about as they did last time. I appreciated it tbh. In Kiwi we didn't have such an option.
