What beverage brings you comfort? Why?

Starbucks Doubleshot espresso & cream, Vanilla Ensure - though I like Walgreens brand Ensure (I forgot what it's called) better because it tastes more vanilla-y - but I haven't had it in years because it's too fattening, strawberry shake (I rarely have that, but the last time I was desperate for a comfort drink a week or two ago I had that), Kern's pear nectar or coconut pineapple nectar (haven't had that in years either). Why? I don't know, I guess I just like thick, creamy stuff.

Hot cocoa..I barely have it but that usually happens in winter I guess it brings me comfort bc it helps me to warm up

If it's 103°F, Ghost energy made a Swedish Fish drink that doesn't pull your teeth out like actually eating Swedish Fish can so I can get into that.

If the temperature is suited for human life, I like lemon ginger tea bc she's full of warmth n spice.

Coffee. I've gotten to like the taste, though at the start, not really. Then started drinking a lot of it, then, boom, my go to beverage

chai lattes, preferably hot but I will take it iced, it just reminds me of someone I'll likely never see again

Scotch. Cider. Tea. Scotch because it has that complex scent and taste. The nose has the second shortest connection to the brain and circumvents the higher brain functions. Good taste and scent directly affects the emotional levels. Cider because the freshness, sparkling livelihood and good apple scent triggers the good in me. Tea because it soothes with richness, deep warm colour and sweetness. Fill a dummy or soother with warm vanilla milk put it between my lips and you will not hear much mad mumbling any more. :-)
