How aware are you of your online activities being tracked? Does it bother you? Do you do anything to guard against it?

I don't care at all. I figure the worst thing that can happen is I get ads that are actually relevant to my interests.

The Tor Browser Bundle is pretty good, but you must not sign in to anything connected to your personal identity in any way if you choose to use that.

I just try not to do anything shady and hope for the best honestly. I have Facebook, I use Google, and every time I look up something once on Google it shows up as an ad on my instagram feed. At this point it's nothing more than a nuisance to me, but again, I am hoping for the best

I use blockers and anti-spy measures a lot. And I never joined FB and the likes. Google though is inevitable in practical terms. But you can use other search engines at least.

I don’t partake in any Facebook quiz or feature (which film star is your personality? What would celebrity X tweet about you? etc, etc) that requires access to my data. Everyone downloading the latest faceswap or age enhancing apps are asking for their data to be harvested for nefarious purposes.

Aware enough - it does bother me, this is one of the reasons I ditched both Facebook and Chrome. I know nothing is completely safe from their grubby tentacles but dammit I am going to make them work for my data

I don’t consume pornography or am I involved in anything shady online, so i guess I’m not terribly worried. Although.., for a while I kept getting sex-related products (lubricants, vaginal dryness products

, and even some toys ) coming up on my feed which I found humorous. Must be my age. 😂
