What is the worst book that you have ever read from start to finish?

If I don't like a book, I don't finish it. The only time when I had to do that it was while I was at school and it was mandatory to read specific books in Literature. La Regenta was a nightmare. Too many loooooooong descriptions

Antigone or Effi Briest. They are probably not really bad, i Just didn't enjoy them at all

I must say that I do not read bad books from start to finish, but among those I read in total there are some I wish I had stopped reading much earlier. A good example for those is world class quality stuff like e.g. The Sorrows of Young Werther. Goethe could have done much better I guess.

It was the epic poem Beowulf. Have no idea why were forced to read (and memorize part of it) in my high school English class. Im sure it’s lovely, but since I don’t understand Old English… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Idk, I don't finish books if they're bad/I lose interest. Or maybe it was something I had to read for school.
