Do you like Stephen King's IT? / Magst du Stephen King's ES?

I haven't read/seen it/IT, but I used to keep a record of things my dad said that amused me. One time my sister showed him the trailer of the latest IT movie. His reaction: "What is he? Some sort of paedo?"..."If he's a clown, why's he killing people? He should be in a circus, fucking entertaining people!"

Yeh. I used to say it was my favorite book when I was in high school. I can't stand the new films though, they're so bad imo. And not even bad in a fun way like the miniseries was, just bad. I feel like they're some of the worst movies with a budget that big that I've ever seen. People love them so much though that I can't say SHIT about that IRL because I don't want to ruin their good time.

I’ve never seen any of the films, but when I read the book I couldn’t put it down near the end. My friend’s husband phoned to tell me she’d given birth to their first child and I was desperately trying to finish the book before going to the hospital to visit them.

I never actually saw it or read it. Once I picked the book up in a store and turned it to the middle of the book and read a little. I don't remember what it said.
