I haven't before, but my impression is that it's analogous to a crash diet. if you're gonna take a one week break from social media or whatever and then go back to your usual social media habits then it feels like there's not much of a point. it seems better to make small incremental changes that can be sustained over a long time, that's just healthy habits 101
