Compromises lack reason and effectiveness. But you cannot trust the brains of people.
Denying the science, peddling fake cures, forgoing clinical trials so they could expedite a vaccine in time for the election, not wearing masks (lead by example), trying to force the CDC to lie to people because the truth makes you look bad, cut funding to your pandemic response budget, lie to the public about it's severity.
everything lol, if we had just shut everything down hard for a few months we could have gone relatively back to "normal" by now. people need rent relief, lots of people still can't work, people aren't respecting mask mandates here. our administration doesn't even believe in science. the whole thing is a circus and because of it i expect the weird limbo situation to extend well into 2022
I am not sure if the government take orders from mainly the pharma industry or if they are just giving recommendations. Most of the time though, pharma is above the government and that is not right. Wearing a mask should be a choice for everybody, we know a lot people would wear that thing still. If they have the power to do so, I mean the government, they should ask the media to talk a lot less about the covid-19. Just a little more freedom, less fear and if we could have utopia right now, government should recommend to people stongly indeed, to live a healthier lifestyle.
