I had a french teacher in high school who was in the cast of Mean Girls tbh
YOU of course! I mean we should all be so lucky to be in your presence - You're like a legend on here. (but seriously- don't know how you come up with so much content). When it comes to the glitz and glamour of fame I was fortunate and got to know a couple people. Some off that small list are the members of a musical group called Kingz One (K1). One of them was a previous a member who branched out from Kumbia Kingz (which was founded by A.B. Quintanilla) Who happens to be is Selena's brother. Honestly, they were a life learning experience I won't forget. I hope they can make it even higher on the music charts. Someone else I got to know somewhat better went to the same church group in my town. His name is Christian Ramirez he works for a syndicated tv program called Un Nuevo Dia on Telemundo. He is the show's fashionista and though he might seem a little queer -he does have a son and is married to honestly a very caring women (who is not in the industry). They are all religious and kind. People are surprising. Sure fame gives some a huge platforms but when you are in the same room it's easy to forget all the pizzazz cause they're just like anyone else except they chased their dream and worked hard with the right people to make it far and wide. IDK if my aunt could count because no she's not famous but she would have been a celeb too. Long ago she worked for a famous producer who wanted to bring her out to California and give her a role in his film but her mom guilt tripped her into staying with the family and not venturing off . My grandmother thought that if she left there was a high chance she might have never gone back and lose her way.
Not very. One of my best friends is from a family that's well-known and respected in Australia (or at least in Sydney), the Horderns. When he was selling his parents' mansion one of the people interested in it who contacted him was someone famous enough that we all know his name.. I don't remember who it was now, though. =P
I know Scott Gilbert who's a famous developmental biologist. He wrote the textbook that a lot of universities (at least in the US) use for developmental biology classes. After he retired he moved to Portland (for family I assume) and also came to our lab meetings lmao. Before I moved away I had lunch with him and he bought me enchiladas. He's famous enough to actually be the first search result of you google his name
... haha...theatre and tv actor european level.
I knew a baseball player from Rhode Island through a mutual friend who grew up with him (Rocco Baldeli). While he wasn't a very notable player, he just won Manager of the Year with the Minnesota Twins in his first season coaching them. I also have a relative from New York who was a pretty prominent model, even has her own wiki: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soo_Joo_Park
