Elio would be treated like any other Isekai Shonen protagonist, and would probably be labeled as one of "Kirito's sons", despite looking nothing like him. Hell, it wouldn't be surprising if he's called the "Tatsuya Shiba of Pokemon". If Journeys is anything to go by, he would definitely get the M8!Leon's treatment - specifically with the Eastern fanbase; have an entire hashtag dedicated to slandering him at every opportunity, lightly sprinkled with some racism and anti-blackness.
