🐞- i'm attending a festival today, so i'm mostly thinking about how they used to go for me! the one i most recently went to was a lot different from the typical ones, honestly Blew My Expectations OUT OF THE WATER!! so i'll have to make peace with the more regular kind again. most of my experiences have been like a fair, yk the funnel cake and you walk around with little shops around.. but my most recent was a parade<:3 as for something more specific, i think the fair back before i moved was something i took for granted. everything was just gorgeous, especially the turtles i saw... hoping to see some beautiful flowers tbh! ଘ(੭ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ✩‧˚ If not regular ole necklaces. 🌴- remember that you usually have more charge than you think you do! i've been stressed out over almost nothing for a while even after some good news and food, because external things aren't always the sole determinator. i know i got my ass up today, got dressed, and fixated on rentries for a while listening to music and, i felt like not attending the festival today, succumbing to sloth once more, but after summoning enough bravery (as silly as that is) to take medicine that's likely placebo and approach this again after some haywire nerves, i'm more motivated to do something that i have been in days LMAOAOA. we all have at least some power to accomplish what we might not really want to do- it just takes a lot of coaxing and inspiration to do such,, at least for me. LOL <3

🌿 - an oc of mine would be gale! i don't have any art of him but he is in my main project and relatively new. he'll eventually undergo more development with his writing arc, yet he's a little boring for now, probably because he started as an oc for the sheriff hayseed universe since my friend liked it. i'm thinking of him since i did a picmix of the protagonist yesterday:3c
he's an anthro jerboa who's village was burnt down, though he was spared, so now he has a little store in basically ghost town central. he wears a mask to hide his scars and intimidate any robbers, but he's probably my most meek character u_u there's more lore with it but i'm feelin' lazy!!

🪶- IZUTSUMI, since i've been talking about dunmeshi. she's fairly recent in the other leagues of my kins (as in not like two years of being kin with her) but i've gotten all of my friends to associate her with me ehehe

🪶- for fun opposition to izutsumi, i choose cheese for this question! they're also one of my kins that my buddies don't really know anything about but i'm annoying enough with it that they get it. he's much less high and serious (as a nonserious character) but it's very funny how much i shift i think. imagining my writing in his voice, how he speaks, and generally is animated gives a feeling that no drug could compare to. >w>

🌿- OC TIME. YAY. these also oppose, but this duo gets shipped with another! the one that came first is karma. i suck at refs so i hope this art in a ship chart of them of the two will do! https://files.catbox.moe/de7747.webp they're important for my main project, but karma began as a neco spirit oc and later a ventsona. she evolved much past that in design, but the concepts remain of a catgirl-formed nekosei (monster, original species) who hurt others physically to inflict karma (her own perception of it, that is) on them for what they had done to others. she now has settled to running a cafe for cat-creatures to work in the hopes of finding love, only to find it with her coworker who she also 'hates' LMAOAOAO

🌿- SECOND ONE IS LYBERTEE !! she's a succubus in the form of a catgirl who came bunches later as just a competitive foil to make the katfe more appealing story-wise, but i began to enjoy drawing and writing them together the most out of all of my other ocs that they grew into something deeper. karma's the grumpy repressed one and lyb's the optimistic open one, yet they both bond on feeling outcasted societally for who they are. lyb in her case is her demonic tendencies, meaning she's incredibly bad with people (usually stuck-up, rude, and insensitive), a lot because of most feeling rather uncomfortable from sex (which is something she needs to survive, so rejection and denial can be frustrating.) the katfoes will think they make each other worse, yet their care for another prevails and turns them into less stubborn and angsty - better, even - of individuals.

🌹- REFRESHED. this baja blast tastes better than i anticipated the store-bought version to be!!!

🍓- yay!! i meant to send 'i wish i was your cat' by the bouncers to my girlfriend but i forgor. this reminded me to do it, so thank you!
it's a decent song, though you may enjoy something like 'too low' by rosemary fairweather more? it's got a white cover and easy, mellow sound!^w^

🌸- OOH okay! i'd say you you feel very inviting, and it soothes a bit of my spare energy, like a gust of gentle wind brushing through my hair, though your banner moves a little like water. i value your kindness as well as recognize the effort it may take to be that way. i'm sure you bring bunches of joy to those that read and/or hear your words, and how do i know that? because i'm one of those people!!>:}

i suppose i'd say that i feel a little strange about the fact that i have completely ignored the stars for most of my life? i remember seeing a lot more dots in the sky, and it was always like a deep blue before i moved, and that was just normal. i never understood the hype. i retained this thought, now with usually a dusky and grey sky with a few white dots. light pollution is a BITCH
i did not even consider how severe light affects stars when i had my second real stay somewhere else that wasn't for family. i was in an area with less light pollution than both of my homes, and yet, i did not look out for the stars. the only thing that's changed my mind on this is seeing recently pictures of what they look like in the middle of national parks and things... how can such extravagant sights look like nothing to think about just a few hours away?
i wish to see something at least a little closer to what makes people go crazy for the night sky, so tonight, i may be attending my first observatory:] it's not super set in stone, but if not tonight, i sincerely hope it'll be this month or something. i'm so eager. i know i won't get the best sights anywhere close or soon, but i want to make better memories to replace the ones i broke my neck looking up for essentially no reason. i know now that it doesn't have to be that boring!

🐞 - a memory of mine that's been circulating in my head is regarding crickets. i wish i could hear some at night again! they were scary in the house, and i really had a distaste for them when i had to hear them EVERY night, but now i miss them... like many others, it feels i am cursed to only appreciate what i have when it's gone u_u the grass is always greener on the other side!

🐦- i wonder why costumes in cartoons got phased out, relatively. like when's the last time you saw a tv show with people walking around in costumes? you'd think that creating costumes would be cheaper and easier to do, like on a small scale, over animation, right? could it be because there's just less limitations and more imagination to work with? shinier colors, higher action? i think puppets and animatronics are self-explanatory for why they're no longer so much in use for children's media, as much as i love them, but are costumes truly that scary to others too?^-^''
