Following recent announcements (buyout by single shareholder), if you use Twitter, will you continue using it? Me: yes

I will, but I'm not particularly active (or not as active compared to years ago) there anymore. Mostly on the Fediverse now.

I’ve been seriously thinking of deleting it for a few years - ever since it became a place to argue rather than a place to have fun. The thing that stops me is it’s the only way I have of keeping in contact with a couple of people I don’t want to lose contact with. But EM taking over might just be the straw that broke the camel’s back. I can’t abide the man and would hate to be responsible for enlarging his bank balance in any way.

I never used Twitter. I am a total loser on social media. I prefer direct video like FaceTime or similar with my peers. Also I have a blog, and use Insta and this here. That is enough me thinks.

Twitter will be more or less the same for like 90% of users, anyway it's funny because the people who used to say 'Twitter isn't real life' are now the same people who think Elon Musk buying Twitter is going to open a portal to Hell or whatever
