Do you think balloons, when popped, are too loud for such a small object? I don't know how that's physically possible.

To make loud noises costs only a very small amount of energy actually. When you blow up a ballon you know how much ernergy is in there, you feel it in your chest. So a small amount of that will be used for the noise and the rest will make the ballon skin to pop around.

Nah, it's a pressure wave from the air in the balloon coming out all at once, like a subsonic boom sorta
