What LaDamaX said, now that she mentions it. I don't have experience with that myself, but I know from all the things I've heard other people say, mostly on Twitter.

Going after what's important without self-sacrificing. Not relying on the payout balancing it out.

the stuff you accumulate in life isn't as important as the experiences, and the people in your life were the real treasure all along, and so on (pours another drink)

That marriage and parenting are not as easy as they seem. 😅

That our life span is very limited and towards the end we also lose enthusiasm and joy in too many cases.
