What non-expensive gift you personally would be happy to receive?

no idea what counts as non-expensive
i'd like a soldering station or something just so i could learn it though

any food. are socks considered non-expensive? But anyway gifts have this anxiety aura around them for me; thinking of a right gift for someone that I'm sure they will enjoy is a struggle for me and I don't want others to go through the same thing to get a gift for me, unless it's the other way around <stumble uppon an item randomly - oh this will make a nice gift for my friend, should get it>, but things like birthday gifts make me very very anxious. I'd prefer to have a no-birthday-gifts policy with my friends...
sorry this answer turned to a long rant.

Gifts are emotionally stressful for me. I have a hard time accepting gifts. Not that I deserve any in the first place. It makes me suspicious what their intentions might be. In that sense, no gift is the best gift. That way, I can avoid having to deal with it.
