How does dating work nowadays?

Like it's always been. You have to take a chance and discover much about yourself as you slowly fall for someone else. The added benefit/difference of modern times is technology. There is a broader sense of selection so many people can be taken for granted or ignored. I'm not a love doctor but I can assure you that the chase is a wild experience. It can move you to do many things . Some foolish, others memorable but all along the way you have an opportunity to discover so much just about you. What you're willing to accept and what isn't worth your time, effort or tears.

I don't know how it works for other people but I'm just direct now, like 'yo you wanna be my ol' lady or nah?' OK maybe not that exact question but that's the general idea... I swear I just want to wake up one day and be married for 9 years and skip all the dating

Tinder>Swipe right at everyone (cast a wide net!)>Unmatch people you aren't interested in and message everyone you see potential in>Make determination based on short exchanges>send them your number or ask for theirs>Wait for either no reply, delayed/uninterested response, or "we should hook up">Get laid>Never see or hear from them again>Repeat

we express mutual attraction. we talk to each other every day for 2-4 weeks before we have a real date which turns into a f*ck. things slow down but there's still enough momentum for a second date/smash sesh. they get tired of me. we just comment on each other's instagram stories until we die. rinse and repeat
