I thought they wouldn't delay paying their employees for three weeks. Turned out I was wrong.

Taking a restaurant recommendation from someone. I know that a lot of people’s idea of good food and my idea of good food are often poles apart, but I did it anyway. It was grim.

I always used to laugh at the mothers who would post about how sentimental they would get when their children were in their senior year of high school. Yesterday, as my daughter’s senior pictures were being taken and I was standing back watching, I got a huge lump in my throat and my eyes started to well up suddenly and unexpectedly. Needless to say, I’ve been feeling off and on like that throughout the day today, as well. Guess who’s not HA HA ing any more... 😔

I assumed the waitress to be unfriendly, harsh, barren, thorny. But then she talked and turned into something lovable with mighiy lovely charms.
