Nah tbh. There are a lot of parts of bench science that can, are, or should be done by machines esp if they're menial or to increase reproducibility of a technique. But I think you'll always need humans to come up with questions, interpret data in a meaningful way, and craft complex but coherent stories about how all the data fits together. I'd fkn love it if AI could write grants for me tho
