Do you ever talk to yourself out loud?

Yes. I forget what I'm doing a lot, it's easier to remember and stay focused if I talk about what I'm doing.

I do it all the time, especially in the shower or while doing my hair in the morning. It's a part of my thought process, but I don't really do it in front of people outside my family or circle of close friends.

Virtually never, unless you count talking to our cats who don't really understand me. Talking to myself just feels weird and wrong. When I was little I used to talk to myself all the time. I don't remember what I would talk about, probably had conversations with imaginary girls. One time I was walking down the sidewalk in my neighborhood and this old black guy said that if I keep talking to myself I'll go crazy. =P

When I’m being a klutz (which is often) I say, “for fucks sake!”. When I drop things (which is often) I say, “bugger!” When I’m failing to do something simple (which is often) I say, “get a grip for fucks sake!”

Sure. It is a sign of idiocy for many, but a temporary mental split for the purpose of venting or getting a new perspective is working wonders for me sometimes. Not to mention I have an imaginary pet, a chicken, which is proof of my mental health as it still is there despite being sassy, an egomaniac and opposing me where it can. Some really ill person would have killed it already.

Kinda, it's pretty soft though... I guess you can hear it if you're paying attention

Maybe I'll tell myself off or congratulate myself. But that's hardly conversations.
