What's something people often say that drives you crazy? personally, it really activates my almonds when people say there are no modern-day primates that can hibernate

Sounds like you have some shit, I don't like to be categorized, other than this people can kiss my ass if I care.

People say: Get over it and you get over it. As if that was a push button I need to be reminded of to press and as if torture will end as soon as I spill the beans.sigh

You can keep your almonds safer longer by storing them in the fridge, anyway I hate the whole 'how are you?' dance people do when they absolutely do not give a fuck how you are, we need some new replacement polite stranger conversation tropes stat

It makes me high in sodium when people, particularly politicians, drug court judges, cops, and various types of institutional leaders say, “treatment, not punishment” for drug addiction. Not because I disagree with it, but because when asked those people almost never support even modest reform like decriminalization. And you're like, "so, then, you still support punishment?" It's just a slogan people repeat because it sounds reasonable, but it's meaningless to them. No one gonna get anywhere with that attitude

When people use the 2nd meaning of ignorant, as the main meaning often applies in the same context.

"Immigrants collect welfare and don't pay taxes". Literally the most inaccurate, misinformed REPEATEDLY regurgitated lie I keep fucking reading daily..

If you're not a citizen there's so much extra BS to deal with and you don't qualify for shit. They pay taxes and don't collect on benefits those taxes pay for, they are a net-positive.

Also just in general there's a lot citizens just take for granted and don't think about. That's what drives me nuts about people that demonize immigrants for all sorts of ridiculous reasons.
