For how long is acceptable to stare at someone without starting to seem weird or creepy? It seems here in Spain we do that for longer than in other places lol

Anything above 10 seconds and I'll assume you're no longer appreciating my moustache, but actively trying to hunt me

You get about a three-mississippi before you have to look away, if you do make eye contact with the person during this time, don't just give them a blank stare - show some warmth, you ice queens SMH...give a smile or a wave or nod or some kind of acknowledgment of them, it tends to be disarming and lowers the weird factor, thank you for coming to my TED talk

Yes, Spaniards are known for their creepiness.... but context is key. A doting look is lovely, a grunty dribbly glare at a stranger while mumbling gross words under their breathe - is hideous.

Some people sense the staring even from farer away in a second. Some others need a 10s stare. To be good ideally nobody should sense it. Idk.
