Is your self worth dictated by how many followers you have on your social media accounts?

Lol never, I prefer the quality of people that I attract, not the quantity. If something I do or posts gets a lot of likes/attention, well that's nice, but not necessary to justify my existence.

Totally so! Only that I don't know how many actually are following me ... ah, 121 .. well, that looks totally promising, now going for my first million! Yay! Nah, I don't really care.šŸ˜Š

Social media networks, at least the big ones, serve content chosen by some sort of algorithm - which is tuned to maximize interactions, usage time and thus profit. Those who generate engaging content will have more followers, and I believe that this content does not reflect how much one is worth. In that sense, attaching my self worth to a follower count would basically let my emotions be controlled by a monetary value.

I'm happy to say that my self worth is measured by the size of my moustache.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! No.

About 10 years ago - yeah. But ever since I distanced myself from social medial about 9 years ago, not at all. At its one of the most freeing things.
