Flowers used to be gifts with multiple meanings but it looks as if any sense has eroded today. The flower shop advertises a buquet of roses as suitable for a funeral! I expect them to offer poison ivy as suitable for spring lovers and thistles for cheering up moms? Do you know the language of flowers?

Yes, much like a lot of existence, nuance has been chucked out the window when it comes to flowers - people seem to get them for someone they are burying or someone they are boning (or trying to) - I got a friend yellow roses once and everyone thought I was trying to fuck her (including her) that was some awkward times , aren't yellow and white and such for friendly/family love? Hell what do I know

Or saying that poison ivy is edible. Anyway, having said that, I don't know the language of flowers. I just enjoy the colours when they bloom.

No. But I know that sometimes the dead person really liked roses, and sending roses in their memory is more personal and meaningful than the established flower etiquette aims to be.

Yes. They said in my fight against the great pestilence! I hide them in my beaked plague doctor's mask.
