I did watch a movie with a person hunting down a suspect. It took a day and a night. And none of the persons needed to sleep, eat, pee or rest. The description rates the movie as "ultra-realistic". Am I too demanding?

Perhaps alittle😆 creative license I guess. I always laugh at post apocalyptic movies when the world has ended. The actors and actresses always have perfect teeth and hair. You can't find enough food but make up is abundant 😂

I always assumed they just didn't show them peeing, etc., but in some more modern shows/movies they do show characters using the bathroom. I'm guessing they just skipped over the "basic needs" parts to make it more exciting.

Well, presumably the movie wasn't a day and a night long, so they must've skipped ahead in time a lot...maybe the sleeping, eating, peeing and resting parts were just conveniently among the times they skipped past? :P

If you ever do see anyone go to the toilet in a film it's usually to hide in the cubicle while they silently scream/have a meltdown. Then they get up and go. I always think, "Why don't you have a pee while you're in there! It'll save you having to go back in half an hour."

Do you remember the show 24? Where all 24 episodes of the season were actually 1 hour periods in the same day? That all becomes particularly glaring in that scenario, like the president and the Joint Chiefs go 24 whole-ass hours without assuming the throne

I believe in hard situation you hardly need anything. So yes you demanding and kinda like a bit...... Bit jelly.

One day someone will make a movie depicting characters in real time. In the most realistic and boring way possible.
