Had today a sip of matcha-latte. Now that makes me question peoples taste. How could that beverage conquer the cafés and the customers when it is a green nuisance? Any ideas?

Beats me. I wish I liked it because I bought a ton thinking I would. I mean, it’s green… it’s gotta be good for you right ? Kind of? Ok I’ll throw it away.

🤷🏻‍♀️ no idea tbh. I used to love it but after I moved to Japan and take matcha almost daily(unsweetened one) I still like it but not crazy about it.

People will associate bad taste with healthy for some reason. When what's found in a litter box is also bad tasting and horrible for consumption. 💀

Because every, oh about 2-3 years a certain demographic of westerners 'discover' something from an Asian culture that those people have been doing for three hundred years or whatever and go crazy over it and sell to each other at a stupid markup, and it's matcha's turn I guess

I don't know how the matcha latte tastes, but I get a matcha frappuccino (frozen beverage) every time I go to Starbucks, I love it. I started years ago when I saw some guy carrying a green frappuccino at Starbucks and I thought it looked good so I asked him what it was.
