When you are female, would you/have you accepted a smaller than yourself partner? When you are male, would you/have you accepted a taller than yourself partner? The stereotype is that women prefer taller partners and vice versa. Do you have a preference?

I don't mind shorter but if they're also small framed I wouldn't likely be attracted to them. you'd be hard pressed to find a smaller boy. I'm not attracted to very slim people

I would, yes, but I'm 4'11'' so in defence of moi, aside from Peter Dinklage, there are very few men who are smaller than me. I happen to be married to somebody over 6 foot, but that just turned out that way, it wasn't deliberate.

I didn't even know about this stereotype. I don't have height related preferences.

I find tall women attractive. They probably wouldn't want to date a guy of mediocre height though.
Interesting post I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/GenderCritical/comments/bw49up/some_guy_wrote_a_bad_fanfiction_for_me/

On there, someone suggested that (butch) lesbians don't care about looks.. I've seen some say this elsewhere too. As a lesbian, what do you think of this.. do you care about looks less than non-lesbians?

I'd prefer a girl who's the same height or shorter, but I would accept a taller girl. My current girlfriend is about a half inch to an inch taller than me, I think.

I like women who are just slightly taller than me but around the same height (I'm 5'0). I feel like 5'2-5'4 is the ideal, and things start to get awkward around 5'7 and above. I have had a quick fling with someone who was ~4'11 I believe but when we went to a bar together everyone thought we were little kids

I've had mostly partners who were taller. One who was smaller. I remember a friend commenting to me on his height. It's not something I ever really noticed in relation to the person he was.

Nah, no preference. It's not like I can be that demanding about anybody's height, I'm not that tall myself. Just don't be giggling when I have to get the stepstool to reach the top shelf of the pantry is all I ask :-P

My mother is six feet tall and my father is 5’8 so I’m used to seeing men being shorter. It doesn’t bother me. It’s not something you can do anything about and I’ve never understood why it’s such a big thing. An old saying in Scotland - “You’re all the same height lying down.” True.

Well I'm 5 feet tall (152cm), so I don't "please be taller than me" is too much of an unreasonable demand. I haven't dated any men in years though.
