If you consume meat, what is your favorite deli meat, cold cut, or charcuterie? What do you pair it with?
Ham and cheese on Rye bread is a nice snack at night😁
cold cut
Italian fennel seed sausage. German smoked potato sausage. Sliced cold Sunday roast. All with German bread.
I don't eat meat very often, but I occasionally have sliced turkey on whole wheat bread with cheese - something like Swiss or mozzarella. I combine that with lettuce, tomato, and mayo or mustard.
I don't know what the difference between cold cut and charcuterie is. I mean I know charcuterie is a bunch of pieces of meet and cheese and vegetables and stuff on a board, but isn't the meat both cold and cut in that case?
I'm not sure what you mean by pair it with. Why would someone eat their meat with exactly one other thing, no more and no less?
My favorite deli meat, though, is probably pastrami, and I'd rather just eat it by itself. I also get Boar's Head turkey and jerk turkey from the deli when they put it in my sub or spinach wrap. =P
