what do you listen to when you work on drawing/writing ect?

I have a long youtube playlist i tend to put on shuffle whenever I'm in the mood to draw. Mostly anime and videogame music cause I'm a nerd, lmao.

Music sometimes, more often some kinda reddit video since im looking at refs for ocs and it needs to be something i dont have to look at

I’m most productive when listening to music but I’ll listen podcasts, YouTube videos, movies, etc.

I listen to pretty much anything...esp metal, I dont play orchestral cuz it makes me sleepy !!
I'm not kidding but listening to Amon Amarth helps me plan things LMFAOO BUT I wouldn't recommend it if that's not ur cup of tea hahaha

Videos ranging 30+ minutes, typically consisting of those lame reddit compilations, greentext, long form reviews (video essays, etc), documentaries, and the occasional Zelda randomizer. I used to play stand-up specials, but youtube has been pretty hellbent on purging them all. Nothing that relies heavily on visuals.

Mostly hype type music but I sometimes switch it up at times, currently listening to a Doja Cat atm

mostly my personal playlist which has a lot of beastie boys LMAO
when drawing i don't usually listen to anything, just whatever's happening at home or what's on tv

I'm mainly Caribbean, so either Afrobeats, Soca, or Dancehall - the latter two usually being riddim mixes. Occasionally, I will listen to an anime/game OST.

Varies quite I lot, I usually just put my library on shuffle and skip through until I find a track that flows with what I'm writing.

... Though I've noticed whenever I write about lore related to Odd, I tend to gravitate towards Radiohead. And I dunno why, but it just kind of fits.

Variety of things, mainly Movie OSTs, Video Games Scores, and lately Hololive OG Songs/Karaoke.
