I think the possibility of me having a stroke would be a more consistent source of anxiety for my partner at this point than them having to deal with and manage their HIV would be a major source of fear for me.

Sure. Infections between women having sex is an almost zero risk. Also kissing poses no risk independent of gender. If I were into men condoms would be mandatory though.
