I haven't planned it in detail, but I'm Buddhist, so I would probably have a Buddhist memorial service (it's similar to a funeral, except the burial/cremation is separate). I haven't paid for my funeral ahead of time, no.

I do not want anybody to feel obliged to do anything with my ashes but it is illegal here to just dig it under in a garden. My ashes will be thrown in a wood. That is an idea that I like. I would like it even better if I just could vanish without any ado.

Not really. I've torn on a few things. But I like the idea of being turned into a diamond and having a memorial bench in a place with a nice view with a quote saying 'he always loved sitting down'.

Told my husband and kids, i want to be cremated then throw my ashes away to the ocean. I'll find a funeral and make a payment after I have my own place.
