Would you be bothered if your parents didn't want a funeral?

I'd be surprised because that's the way our family does things, but if that is their wish I have no qualms about it. Mourning is a super private thing for me anyway

No, I wouldn't, although my dad, at least, has described wanting something along those lines. I should probably talk to them about it, at the very least.

I don't care about funerals, I'd rather grieve in a natural way, on my own terms, than in a contrived way.

I'd be a bit confused, but I'd honour their request. Just might start some shit as family will want one and I'd have to explain their wishes.
