Is the voice in your head always the same volume?

When I was awake for way too long my inner voice was louder than usual, a sign that you need sleep for sure.

There is no voice in my head. Probably since I have my music on quite often in my head.

I think the voice I sometimes hear when reading is quieter than the voices of the vocalists of songs that are stuck in my head.

I don't have a voice in my head, except when I'm reading...sorta. Though sometimes I try to suppress it and read directly because it seems neurotic to read through an inner voice and I used to not have to and I read faster that way.
