How comes that many lesbians are more masculine than the average woman in terms of their looks and behavior?

I have a great many ideas on this. Then I'm going to tell you about the black experience, as well as my thoughts on Asians and trans peoples … 😏🙄 …or more succinctly youtu.be/jWI8w9kLAks .

I think it's more of a role (or a lifestyle choice to fit into that role) in a relationship. Most gay couples I know there is one that is more effeminate than the other. I'm afraid I don't personally know any lesbian couples to comment. But perhaps vice versa is true.

It is not that "many" lesbians are that way but those lesbians you recognise as such may look like that because lesbians with a "male" role model style are easier to spot than say lipstick lesbians or those indistinguishable from any other woman.

Same reason gay men are often flamboyant. Their brains are wired the way the opposite sex is, hence their dating preferences.

Reincarnation says that we come, normally, seven times as a woman and then seven times as a man. When you lived seven lives as a man and than suddenly a woman, it doesn't go so smooth often. Anyway that is the explanation Buddhism has to offer.
