What do you do to save money?

Honestly I'm not that conscientious about it, but two things I have going for me are the good fortune to make a decent living and having no real desire to spend in large quantities , so the savings just kinda happen sans any 'strategy'

I put most of my money in a high interest savings account. about 25% of my monthly income goes in there

I don't save with food, sounds counter-intuitive but I'm still working on 70 bucks of great quality tea instead of going for a cheap soda each week.

I don't spend money on shit thats not important and keep an eye on my accounts to make sure I don't spend more than what I have. And where there are savings, keep them in accounts that maximise interest.

I reduce my wishes and needs to what is feasible and let go expenses that society thinks is a must that I myself think are not necessary. Also I do live a bit on the minimalist side of style. I feel more easy when I have only few items and less stuff and by doing this save for things I might need in the future.
