Oh I get them all the time at work, the one I had today was after waiting 6 weeks and chasing to get someone to do something - to add a little bit of information, which was ultimately a favour to them - as they would be building on all the work I've set up for them... basically the excuse to why they didn't do translated to 'I haven't done X because I think that Y won't do Z for him (me)'... if it makes no sense, its because it doesn't - shouldn't have even offered him the chase to use the tech I built for him.
