I've picked myself off rock bottom and am doing better now.

I am an academic and so partly my own boss with a flexible schedule. Hence, every day is a Saturday and I can work from my bed! Downside: I work at Saturdays from my bed.

I'm single w/ no kids-- not that I want that to be the case forever but I'm enjoying my freedom for now-- which means all my money is mine to spend. I don't make a lot of money but I make enough so that I don't have to check my bank account balance before I swipe my card. I have a challenging but interesting job and I love the people around me at work. I have the cutest lil kitty, she's my bb. I am relatively healthy emotionally and physically (no longer dependent on antidepressants + I stopped binge drinking). no offense but I am living my best life as my authentic self (which this Q helped me realize tbh)
