Burning emotions vs trapped ones... exactly them
I also like the idea of Big Daddy as Victor's bio dad. Him joining the mafia as a low ranker just to get a better idea, interacting with him directly. Though the overall feel I want is that Victor's father has a well known face in the area, causing resentment between him and his mother since his face makes it known who his father is. Thinking his father lied to his mother, spawning her obsession with lies that she taught to him. She cared for him on some level, but her negative emotions won over so she left him. Victor in that bonds event had a question about forgetting being more painful... he must think she forgot about him. Though I also think her leaving him with his uncle (presumably her brother) meant she considered coming back for him, but that ended up being a lie. Victor doesn't and will never know, a fact that will agonize him. The overall vibe of Victor as a bastard child because "of course nobody can love Victor Grantz when he himself wasn't born out of love" As a secret seeker I'd like him to find his parents and watch them from afar. I wonder if they moved on which would further fuel his angst
I also like strong Victor... Though I like stronger Andrew. Overall I like stronger bottoms (^w^). Andrew has more strength than Victor but lets and wants Victor to push him down. I won't go any further on this thread for now...
Yes, he listens to their heartbeats as they die and when they are gone its implied he eats them. Whether its stuffing it into his empty chest cavity or eating it with his mouth... I let the reader decide what they like more. Real Victor is the same with letters. I want him to kiss the letters he gets to feel something (or he can eat them lol)
I remembered I had another theory, and it's the possivility of Victor being from a big family, having many siblings, and probably being the youngest. Families used to send their kids to whealthier familiars because they didn't have enough to feed all the children (sometimes also sell them).
.
.
But I also think, a mother who is neurotical about lies, and probably seeing his husband in his child, ending up with her abandoning him to start over... It's very likely... Victor probably went to a different city with his uncle. He seems like the type that would look for his mother...even if he knows the truth...

Ahaha don't worry, this page will explode next year so anything you say will be lost in the matrix(?)
I think andrew is reasonable strong, but I don't know why people usually think short and slim means someone must be weak...Naib exist
Andrew letting himself being pushed down more because of a psychological factor, and not because he can't push over himself. I'm sorry I make him so short tho...from time to time I switch their heights... When it comes to other ships with andrew, i have this terrible fixation with him being scarily dominant and strong, stemming from hate, positioning himself over the other using their body height and weight to his advantage....I don't know why i dont do that with vicdrew...maybe i was forced out of that by bad fndm experiences............................ I really can't explain my brain process but I think that's the main reason my vicdrew is so boring...
.
That's really cool....i imagine it as him embracing the other person with his ear on the chest, eyes closed.......
Og victor smelling the letters to try and make himself a mental image, he wants to know if there's more of the other person on the letter besides the words
It's okay... I took long because I was doing things irl...
Being the Postman is comforting to Victor. The Postman is reliable and helpful, but not so flashy that he would stand out. A pleasant smile makes others happy. As much as he wants to distance himself and not care, deep down inside he does care and wants someone to do the same for him. Letters to him show honesty, but I find it funny that the writing he have from him are very distant. Like his greetings are very short and at the current event his review only says Wick likes the food. A bit of hypocrisy there Mr. Grantz...
I just really like Victor as the sun, people need the sun but never look up at it, like how Victor seeks to be trusted and needed but nobody ever sees him. Yet Victor is the only sun Andrew can enjoy. Meanwhile Andrew as the moon. Oh so distant but gentler despite how scary and intimidating the night can be.
Also the opposite... Andrew's emotions burn brightly, sometimes making him act rashly while Victor is cold and distant like the moon.
Much to say about them...
Please, do not think you should send me messages all the time. Everyone has their irl problems and this shouldn't be taken as an obligation!
I really love how he is always like "you can read between lines in letters!" but when he writes it feels like he's actively trying to perfect a writing that won't let anyone read between his lines... Maybe he wants to make sure the right person can read him through and through? (delusional)
You're right....the sun is so bright and warm....but you shouldnt look at it directly....
The way you just put it for both really is making me all giddy....ehehe....I love them....
Sun and moon GAH. Victor is the pleasant and warm sun, but you can’t look at it for too long or get too close because of the heat. Andrew moon who lives in the dark. The night can be scary but the moon casts an unassuming but helpful light. Also opposite cores if you get what I mean? Victor on the inside is cool and detached while Andrew has burning emotions that cloud his decisions.
Victor in positions of power… those skins gave me the hc that his bio father was a prominent man. A man who was a trusted leader whose face many people know. Victor’s parents were having an affair and Victor looks so much like his birth father, as Victor got older that dirty secret got put. Also thinking an affair would spawn his mother’s views on lies which she taught to him. His father lied to his mother and abandoned them both, then she abandoned him Victor thinking to himself that of course he’s unlovable, he wasn’t even born of love. This is a side track but I had to say it.
Prince and knight… while I don’t think Victor is a weakling, Andrew is protective. He’d want to physically defend Victor and serve him. Someone out there… make content of Prince Victor and his loyal knight but also they kiss lots. Maybe I’ll add that lol. But also the Prince Victor I wrote is very haunted. It’s more uh scary fairytale? Prince was abandoned by his mother and his father (the sun god) on a mountain. She ripped his heart out leaving him with a mechanical body. Now rumors of treasure on the mountain surface, so people seek to help the Prince find his heart. They all freeze to death on the snowy mountain peak and Prince eats their hearts to relive their cherished memories. I love creepy fairy tales and thought it’d suit Victor since he loves fairy tales and is a haunted puppet in many ways
I don't think it sounds as good as it does in Spanish to me, but "Andrew siente intensamente" ("Andrew feels intensely") is a phrase that usually crosses my mind when I think about him. I suspect that Victor's emotions are trapped 🤔 but it's nothing I haven't explained before, so I won't extend on it.
Me too, tbh I used to theorise that big daddy was actually Victor's father... But an affair seems plausible even, now I want that outcome jshdjshd
Not being born out of love... Was he even loved after? Or as soon as the truth was unveiled love then was just another lie? Did his mother even say something true to him? Food for thought 😁
You must know I make victor quite strong, my bad about that 🐁💦 but so do I about Andrew, the difference is in the will, the mind. Andrew can have strength but he's so weak of mind after years of abuse he can see the shackles.
So he doesn't think he's good in anyway, but he can do physical work, and that includes using his body, so protecting is just another part more.
Let's not start with the kissing part or I'll go crazy fr
Oh he does? twirls hair I hope he's having a good meal 😳
Me too, creepy fairy tales suits him sm 💕
Glad you enjoy reading my long messages ;-;
Victor has an inner kindness, which he shows only to animals and plants, but that side is repressed. It’s why when Annie expressed discomfort he didn’t show any particular care. A Victor from a long time ago would have, but 23 year old Victor prefers to stay in his own comfort zone. While he wasn’t a top member of the mafia, he was proud of his role as their messenger because it meant he was trusted, ignoring the fact that his work harmed others. He just delivered the mafia’s packages, uncaring about what happens to the mafia’s victims until he was impacted (policeman and Wick). There was a kind hearted Victor who wants to be the true Victor. Or maybe that’s the postman speaking? He can’t break himself from the mask of the reliable but unassuming postman, leaving his emotions disturbed. I wish more people talked about the elements of envy and resentment in his character. He peeks into letters because nobody sends any to him, he wants to at least simulate a relationship. He finds reasons not to interact with others despite internally wanting so desperately to connect. He’s a messed up guy but since he doesn’t resort to violence about it, he has the image as just a good and upstanding guy.
Andrew is interesting because he does horrible things while having a good heart. For the sake of Heaven, he’s told himself that these crimes will be washed away when he finally reaches his goal. Just one more day, month, or year of this dirty criminal life. He sacrificed his dignity and closed off his heart so he can keep his head down and work up the funds for a Holy burial. But he couldn’t close himself off completely, his heart still bleeds for affection. When someone supports/validates him he decides to follow them. Whether it’s through funds for Latz (Percy) or the compliments he craves (3-1-5). Yet in the end, the tragedy is that he dirtied his hands for nothing. All that sin just to end up dead in the manor, far away from his mother.
Victor and Andrew both struggling with who they really are, giving up parts of themselves for their own comfort. They’re both somewhere in that gray area. I am sad that Andrew seems to get the most “BUT HE KILLED SO HE MUST BE SADISTIC AND EVIL” treatment when other murderous characters don’t. Meanwhile Victor, while he hasn’t killed, is no angel, gets treated as a sweet baby boy who won’t even smoke because he’s that pure. Victor is just too cowardly to kill, just wait until he decides to finally snap (/j).
Overall it’s that Andrew is someone with a good heart who still does bad things for his own self interest (Heaven) while Victor allows horrible things to happen around him for his own emotional comfort (the ultimate bystander syndrome /j)
I kinda rambled again but like, I just like their layers. They both have elements of good people, but Andrew’s actions and Victor’s repressed resentment for others indicate otherwise.
Sorry for the week late answer, at first I thought I had answered this one too but no, I wanted to give it a couple of days to give a nice answer but classes started and then I forgor...
Opposite sun moon is my cup of tea, ofc I get you, I kinda breath that stuff...
Oh dear I find it so funny like Victor really was like "what's wrong with her"
I don't think Victor wants to put it in words directly how much he wants to be trusted, and not only as an activity related to his hyper fixation. To him, it's the only true way to form a bond with others...
If the postman mask took over....where did the autumn went...did it leave or is he buried....
Him peeking into letters it's kind of funny because it indeed is because knowing secrets he feels closer to these people but that also means he's a nosy old hag jdhdjdh
Sadly, Victor has this image in the fandom of someone pure and unproblematic, and nobody seems to want him to be gray or show signs of humanity...
Andrew is more visibly needy in this aspect, but huh (taps the sign) this fandom... But every day I care less and less about how others talk about him, one knows their truth and that's the only important thing...
Give Victor a gun I say, let's see what he does
It's ok, I like finding long
messages
God I’m typing so much but like inverted sun and moon. I personally like to describe it as outwardly Andrew Moon and Victor sun, but if you look into their hearts it’s the opposite. Outwardly Andrew is a mysterious and ominous force while Victor is the pleasantly helpful postman. Deep inside Andrew’s emotions burn inside him, clouding his decisions and Victor distances himself, an ever distant moon.
Writing a fic where there’s a story book element every few chapters with Victor as the prince of sunshine and Andrew as a knight of moonlight. Though the roles they play isn’t what you’d typically think? Gah! I just like Vicdrew sun and moon a lot we need more people talking about it
Dont worry about writing too much, i enjoy it.
We're on the same page then, because i think the same about their sunmoon victor shines so brightly so you cant see his other side, meanwhile andrew tries so hard to hide his light scared someone might try to extinguish it again, and also somehow a burning passion you wouldnt expect...
A prince and a knight.....they also had those roles...and somehow victor sometimes gets stuck in high standing roles...a pope and the first vampire, a prince... I really like the idea, I love allegorical elements shorts inbetween a story....
Yes about Victor! He’s kind but he cuts himself off so he doesn’t really care. He’s going through the motions. His kind heart is still there so he’s polite and pleasant. He’s scared of abandonment so he distances himself so he won’t care.
Andrew is harsh to push others away so they don’t push him away first. Him being weak to compliments also rewired my brain. Despite his harsh life he’s still naive. I think there’s a lot of flak for calling Andrew innocent and naive when he’s killed. I think both can be true at the same time. Andrew isn’t innocent as in having clean hands, his are covered in sin. He’s innocent in a naive way. Andrew was orphaned at a young age and didn’t have guidance in a cruel world. The criminal world presented him what he thought was his only chance at redemption. He thought he could suck up some years of crime in order to have enough money for a holy burial. But that was never going to happen (unless it’s Epitaph lol). So it’s not really woobifying imo since that gullible nature led him down his dark path. A lack of conviction also meant he wouldn’t escape. There might have been chances to escape his life of crime, but Andrew wasn’t going to take them because that unknown was scary. It’s easier for him to stay with bad people who tell him he did a good job. He’s a good natured person who has done terrible things, which is what makes him interesting to me. It doesn’t matter that he’s insecure and a nervous wreck, in fact those traits are why he ended up killing Marshall in a panic. There’s so much more to Andrew than Sadistic Cold “would kill you with his shovel for looking at him wrong” and soft innocent boy. Gah I have so many thoughts about Andrew. He’s got layers but sometimes ppl only talk about one side or the other. 😭
Also yes Sun and Moon. I love Sun and Moon Vicdrew a lot… I can write so much about it…
Sorry, i can't help but to find it a bit amusing how we still mistake being kind with being a good person, I don't believe Victor is inherently a good person, but he does try to act like one probably to not being the topic of someone else's convo... I think ultimetly, he might be confused on whether he is or not a good person after wearing this mask for so long...
Andrew is very complex, and people don't really want to admit that sometimes, bad people are bad not by choice. He isn't bad i mean, but for some he is. Sometimes, people who do horrible things have hearts and there is a why behind every. Andrew killed people therefore hes evil and cold and greedy money hungry... I don't see people talking like that about jack for example, but that's also because he's clearly a bad person, a murderer. But people loves tho stomp on characters who have done bad without them having any other option to survive. Andrew is a kind hearted man who's suffered the worst in his childhood, moment of life that shapes most of a person. And he still didn't escape a bad treatment for years, everyday. I would look like shit too if i had to go through all that too. And yet, he still managed to stay naive and get ridiculous happy when someone compliments him, he literally wants an oportunity in life so bad it makes him look stupid....
I hope i could make my thoughts make it through all this text...thank you for writing so much to me!
Keep talking about sunmoon vicdrew because i also wont shut up ever djdfjksk
I love the compare and contrast between those two.
Victor is kind hearted but he’s also emotionally cut himself. So he’s still kind, but it’s not quite out of care. The care is deep down but it’s complicated. As cheerful and kind as he appears, there’s a purposeful distance between him and the others. Meanwhile Andrew has a tougher exterior but when he’s kind he fully means it. He judges people easily and getting his kindness out isn’t easy, but as seen with plants and animals, he’s very sweet when he’s comfortable.
I love it when characters break their first impressions. They’re both hypocritical in different ways that makes it so they’re not quite good guys or bad guys. They’re my favorite silly cringefail criminals.
Yes!!!!!!! Tbh i don't really think Victor actually cares often, at least not about humans. He is kind but in a polite kind of way. I think learning Andrew is actually weak to compliments really rewired my brain, because I really really thought I was being too OOC for thinking that sometimes, and also...too innocent for his own good?? My jaw on the floor; he's perfect....sun & moon but they're actually inverted.... Silly guys who would understand eachother but after of a very long tortuous slowburn of thinking wrong about the other....
Your Victor has lots of charm. He’s like a haunted cursed puppet. He’s got them haunted eyes and an uncanny smile. Rather than just cute I like the overall vibe of when his smile doesn’t reach his eyes. I really like that nuance. He’s not a bad guy, but he’s got an edge you wouldn’t expect from his bright smile: It’s been about a year since I started following you. I think it was around when there was that Paperboy and Space Mining art? Even if it’s less popular I’ll continue to be a fan.
Really my favorite ship is puppy with a hidden wolfish side x tired pathetic attitude haver. I’m happy to see your art whenever ^w^
Thank you so much.....it means a lot to me 🥹💕 also thank you for pointing out what you think of my Victor, I'm really happy to read these thoughts! Because well, I don't usually know how others feel about it other than myself haha...
The more I stayed with Victor the more I realized he's the vessel for a very dark matter contained only by a kind heart who, more often than not, has to fight for it to not crack and flood... Andrew is similar, but he's more genuinely kind than Víctor, and that's what I like about them, because it always looks like it's the opposite!
I wish I was stronger and drew things where I portray these things better, I'm sorry... I'm trying to tho... And thank you again for writing me 😊💕
Just want to put out there that despite it being the less popular route I love your Vicdrew. Your Victor is just perfect to me. Undeniably cute and awkward but he’s troubled… Your art officially converted me to Vicdrew and your interpretation is amazing. <3
OOUGHHHGGHAAA???!! 😭😭😭😭😭 OH....I'M....I'M SO MOVED....I never drew them with the intend to attract others to it but reading you say that made me feel flattered 😭💓
I think the thing that makes me most happy about your message is that you like the way I portray Victor, who i'm aware its not the taste for most 💦 He's my silly little guy with a bit obscure core... I hope I can keep it up. This made me really happy, thank you so so much for writing me, from the bottom of my heart, thank you 😭💓
andrew n vicotr being the only ones for each other n being a bit crazy about it is so real though they cant let each other go.....
I find it fascinating Victor's skins have such an ominous theme, if only that showed in his game. Since his role there is just to be pretty and die... Victor hates being seen, but being seen with Andrew as a set... is very appealing.
Victor is strangely elated to share this secret with Andrew, one that will bond them forever. He's also happy since if Andrew is willing to kill for him, then he must care. You don't kill for someone you would abandon.
It was honestly underwhelming and makes me kind of furious but it's ok I can look somewhere else and act like that never happened 😁
Victor has that vibe to him you would find in characters that actually were the one committing the crimes all along in novels.
He hoped he could bond after his death if someone found the letter (😁 mad asf) but he can bond with Andrew over this secret he helped to bury... "Andrew is so nice he even killed someone against his will, and for me..."
Andrew sharing only with him is the most desirable, but he knows it would be better to share it with the world. Though if Andrew insists he will gladly be the only one for Andrew in any and every way ^w^
Yandere Victor… he’s not particularly inclined to violence but if he’s more like Embrace or Roll Call… He’s def the type to leave silent threats. Subtle ones that build up. Makes sure that the other person doesn’t get to be alone with Andrew and always swooping in to call Andrew somewhere. Making it so Andrew spends as much time with him as possible. Keeping anything Andrew gives him or leaves behind. Like his stamp collection… “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure”
If Andrew thinks Victor is in danger he’s acting first. Andrew’s kills are focused around his fear (Marshall - to evade jail, pastor uncle - to escape abuse, Zinaida - fear of her finding out about his “murder”). Fear of losing Victor must qualify as well, right? He and Victor can cover it up together ^w^
I can let it go a bit more with those skins 😁 to a limit tho... ←sad
I really like that, I also think he acts that way, from not wanting to be seen to be always seen around Andrew...
Andrew's everything is Victor's treasure (?)
Victor calming Andrew down after whatever he does, he's strangely unaffected once the danger is gone and he's telling Andrew "hang in there I will help you hide the body ok? Don't cry ☺️" like it's nothing (?)
Late response is okay ^_^
Thinking of Andrew ripping up his work in frustration. (He’s got a temper). Victor stays behind to pick up the pieces and tapes them together. He wishes Andrew would share it with the world, though for now he will treasure it…
Victor maybe it’s time you learn your lesson about how horrible it feels to have someone read your diary…
