What did you think were some indicators of wealth as a child? Ex: You had more than 2 pairs of shoes that you wore to school.

Having and wearing outfit matching sneakers. And being driven by a housemaid in a blue sports car.

I don’t remember anything standing out at primary school. But in secondary school, when you were learning to play a musical instrument, the school provided you with a flute or whatever that you kept until you left. Not new, but perfectly acceptable. One person in our school actually owned their own clarinet. That was a big deal at the time.

When they had a really cool hobby like surfing or getting to go snowboarding a lot.

I went to school with affluent families, they would go skiing in the Alps over winter break or whenever

Man… I was so poor as a kid. I literally had one outfit. Back in my school days, to me a rich kid was a kid that had these “fashionable” cashmere hats.Let me see if I can find a link - https://nueby.com/product/cashmere-winter-knitted-hat?color=black&gclid=CjwKCAiAxJSPBhAoEiwAeO_fP8tBi9Inafl99o3bZQX2NDKR8wHyx63OgmtEScaBqb7LF9BXjOtMDRoC3_YQAvD_BwE looked kind of like this without the lace things in the side. They came in all sorts of wonderful colors like red, green, purple. Everyone who was anyone had those. I… had a hat knitted by my mom.

You wore all the popular name brand stuff. You had the popular video game consoles and video games. I guess you didn't have to be wealthy for those to apply, you just had not to be poor and/or have accommodating parents. But I can't think of anything else. I guess the fact that they went to a private school.
