Sigh, HRT challenges. My hormone levels have not been right for a year. I was told to do XYZ and see any doctor within the Family Medicine department at the clinic my insurance covers. So I finally see Doctor A this morning and he tells me he doesn't actually manage gender affirming care at all. So I was given bad info along the chain twice before seeing that doctor, which is very frustrating. Doctor B who can actually manage my case has a waitlist lasting into August, which is not that far away, but still a disappointment when I thought I could get what I needed today. That, and my actual medication has not been easy to get with the clinic pharmacy closing down. It's baffling that I fund my own insurance plan through my paycheck, and this is what I have to deal with. I got way better, uninterrupted care when I was under Medicaid. Insurance in this country is such a fucking mess
I have a hernia right now and it's been really painful. I'm supposed to have it operated on in a week and a half, but for now I'm just tolerating it with medication.
Weird sleep patterns...
I've got a nice case of pneumonia that nearly ended my life. Thanks to the American health care system i had to first go to a clinic where i was misdiagnosed 😁
