How many times have you accidentally set yourself on fire? Tell me.
Actually two times. Once my hair burst into flames due to a burning candle in my back and the other incident was when in our lab a laser beam burnt my hoodie. The video was stunning. The flame was short but as high as the ceiling! The hoodie fell apart into a double z-form when I pulled it over my head afterwards. No skin damage. Phew!
I've never officially caught fire, and that's a little bit astounding since I'm not great at fire safety.
I fell asleep with lit cigarettes, I hid the matches in my room a few times as a kid so I could play with them outside on the weekends (but I never actually did it). I also used to love sticking stuff in candles when I was a kid. For a brief period one of my favorite pastimes of the holiday season was a game of Stick Bits of Debris in a Lit Candle and See What Happens. Pretty much every game ends with "the candle is ruined and grandma is really mad", though. So the game loses its excitement after you've played it a couple times.
I don't know but I still have a burn scar on my wrist from the time I used to help my dad with construction work on our house. Drops of boiling tar landed on my right wrist resulted in me screaming in agony. I quickly placed my wrist under cold water but it doubled the pain. I think I was 10-11 at the time.
