Genesect sees Wily as a brother of sorts, having watched him grow up from a kid into an adult and being fixed by him countless times over the years. The only odd thing is he went from little brother to big brother, all the while Genesect doesn't visibly age.

Buttons loves Yorra with his whole chest and wishes she could see the overwhelming good in herself that he sees in her.

Lilina thinks Yorra is strict and scary but also a good mommy who will feed her if she's good and doesn't bite the mailman.

Nettle's scolipede is rather overprotective, as her only battle hardened mon, since most of her others were raised from baby mons
Astra's luxray is generally acting as her impulse control, and generally does its best for her. It acts Tired :tm: but cares deeply for her
Orchids leavanny is a bit overprotective, since she doesnt battle, so it just kinda. Takes care of things for her. :)
Weiss's scizor is exasperated but cares abt her lots. It wishes shed stop doing dumb shit.

I've said it before but Estella's Cinderace, Nike, is her best bud. They pretty much have the same strengths and weaknesses so they double up on the good and the bad lmao. It's a lot for the rest of her team to handle xD

I'm working this out for the others.

Lex's Raedran and him have developed a very touching bond, I know that much. They started off very rocky but are absolutely dedicated to one another. They never show it publicly - given Lex's proclivity for coming off as hammy and imposing and his Raedran needs to match that, but they have a lot of trust.

Most of them view their trainer as an older sibling or someone to protect like a guard

Jin's urshifu Jun has a ton of respect for his big sister. She also serves as his standard for what strength is and he often tests himself against her during sparring.
Cheshire views Mary as both a trusted partner and someone who he needs to protect at all costs. She can get on his nerves sometimes tho, but he's just grumpy like that.

Victor (Stoutland) sees Norrie as his other half, he really loves her and couldn't ask for a better trainer. He hopes that he gets to see her soon after her trips are done...

Ceci (Audino) feels honored that Norrie wanted her to be her new ace after Victor retired, she might love her a little more than him (self procclaimed). But in all reality she's also happy that Norrie never treated her as something "weak" or "useless" because most people that encounter Audino wouldn't give a glance, she wants to work hard to make both Norrie and Victor proud!

Thanatos thinks the world of Grim, but at the same time his sense of self pride is TOO big. So he acts like Grim is not worthy of training him, despite knowing all too well that without Grim, he wouldn't even be alive...so yeah...basically a yandere

pace and his snorlax are basically like brothers who share a single braincell between them, and that braincell is constantly hungry so-

mahura (ophelia's lurantis) is essentially soulmates with her. ophelia caught it when it was a fomantis, and it's lived its entire life under her protective care. to say mahura would risk its life for ophelia isn't a far cry at all; mahura has cared for its beloved trainer before in her time of need, and it wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

Harlem is Balei's Kommo-o, she sees her as a sister, she's very caring in a tough love kinda way, the type where she'd get mad at her for staying up late and not getting enough sleep

Fausto's Tyrantrum (Anthem) however sees Fausto as an equal, a sorta rival to him, in the future he does learn to respect Fausto and not just do his own thing

Maybe, as much she snarks at him, still very much cares for Odd, and they're practically siblings.

Ever since they met when Odd was a child, both he and Mauve went through similar tribulations relating to their past/learning they're not exactly what they thought they were, so even though they can harp on each other at times for how they handle their own baggage (Mauve trying to act haughty/above her own issues and Odd trying to downplay the trauma he's experienced) they both still deeply appreciate having each other and being able to express how they're feeling to someone they can relate to.
