Do you think plus size people should be able to cosplay none plus size chrachters and none plus size people should be able to cosplay plus size chrachters?

Yes. I feel like it's a bad road to be like "I can't play dress up because I'm not the shape of a cartoon character!" And it's a really bad road to say that not having the shape of a fictional person and then dressing up as them is comparable to something fucked-up and racist, like when Trudeau is painting himself brown and going "dUHHHHH, hahahah, im Aladdin u guys hahahah wow duuuuuh."

So just, you know, have fun, don't do racist shit. There you go.

That sounds like a perfectly fine and fun thing to do that doesn't hurt anybody so yeah, go for it

Sure. Cosplay is about the fun, is it? I've seen female Marios, I've seen really big Marios, tiny Marios, Marios with blonde hair, Marios the size of Kongs, Marios looking like Marias, children Marios, adult Marios.. nothing can keep you away from the fun to cosplay as you wish. Maybe only the sword size is a problem. Saw a girl with a sword she was unable to lift in the long run, I'd not use material for swords that has a high weight in case you carry it around. It is impractical but if you make it from plastics it should work.

If males can cosplay as female characters and vice version, I see no reason plus size people can't cosplay as non plus size characters and vice versa.

That's like saying a black person can't cosplay Yugi Mutou, something which is clearly wrong...because I saw someone doing that at FanExpo Philly.

Cosplay who you want, regardless of you weight gender or race.

Yeah, cosplay is supposed to be fun, not some high budget Hollywood movie where actors have to work on their bodies for months in order to achieve a certain shape.
