Is Barack Obama a war criminal?
Well, the US is the judge, jury, and executioner when it comes to war crimes... so, no.
Yes and, like Kissinger, he has been honored with the nobel price for piece. Interesting world we are living in.
I loved Obama, but his foreign policy was just a continuation of George W. Bush. Drone strikes killed a lot of innocent civilians, he also didn't have the authority to do what he did in Lybia. Worst thing he did (IMO) was authorize a new version of the Patriot Act (unconstitutional surveillance program).
"The US dropped an average of 72 bombs every day — the equivalent of three an hour — in 2016 ..."[1]. He is a war criminal if only one of the thousands of bombs that the US dropped during his presidency resulted in killing innocent civilians. It's highly probable that you'll be a war criminal when you become the leader of world's number one superpower. In today's world, a considerable number of state leaders are war criminals ... I always have said and I'm obliged to say it again that I still prefer a world in which the US is the number one superpower and not countries like Russia or China ...
You probably could say that of all US presidents so far plus of a lot of any other powerful state leaders.
Very much so yes. 😁
