Who would make a good moderator on retrospring?

I was a mod on modernspring, but I don't really have as much of the free time anymore as I did then.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's a thankless task where you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Anyone strong enough to wield a banhammer and is present and reasonable enough not to hit someone with it for petty or limited reasons. So really anyone who's been on this site for a long time and hasn't caused too much trouble that the admin's trust.

Seriously, I think with all these new users they’re going to have to be careful. Because more users = more creepy/nasty/weirdo trolls. I mean look at the 11+ users we had before? Four of them have been banned multiple times and keep coming right back for more (strangely). And keeping mods anonymous is a good idea, because they tried open mods once before on a previous site and they just got relentlessly targeted for it - as Ed will attest.

There are moderators here? or is that a long standing vacancy ? all the moderators here if they exist share one common quality: invisibility. So we must find a ghost to apply which seems like an impossible job description. In case a visible moderator is considered the list could be longer but probably not by much. Our new friends writing much Tagalog seem to be unmoderate to say the least ;-)
