What's your solution for world hunger?
Feed people
So much food goes to waist. The problem is proper distribution tbh. Biggest motivation for someone to thrive is achievement. If families are given free food without any work or effort they quickly take it for granted and it soon be wasted. I say this because I know of people who use stamps for personal gain and not really nutritional sustainability. It is complicated because it's so easy to look for solutions but in the world we live in, mistakes can happen and it's a constant cycle of improvement to hopefully one day reach equilibrium for many.
A dystopian comet.
I'm sorry, I just have to say yikes to any suggestion of population control because 1) that shit is authoritarian af and 2) is just plain wrong on multiple fronts. the world doesn't really have an overpopulation problem -- it has an overconsumption and resource distribution problem. people have fewer children when they make more money and have guaranteed social safety nets in place (healthcare, housing, etc.). if you give people those things population growth will slow. not that that's the root of world hunger
Offer sterilization to the super poor in exchange for meals.
