can you tell me your favorite idiom(s) and what its means?

I have some of them but here’s two:

★ Apple of My Eye: used to refer someone you love or very fond of. The sweetest!

★ Once in a blue moon: means very rarely. It’s just beautiful to describe something we can’t find or do often with “Blue Moon"

I don't have personal favorites, but one commonly used idiom is 'actions speak louder than words.' This idiom means that what a person does is more important and reveals their true intentions or character more effectively than what they say. It emphasizes the importance of actions and deeds over mere words or promises.

Paling sering pakai feeling under the weather, soalnya sering ngerasa kurang nyaman sama sesuatu dan gampang banget sakit-sakitan wkwkwk.

my waves meet your shore ever and evermore 🧡 actually a taylor lyric but it means that two people will always be together and share lots of love and memories together for a long time 🧡🧡 also waves and shore always meet each other everyday just like two people that are perfect and a match for each other

i’ve always loved “to the moon and back” which means “as long as i’m breathing”… if i’m not mistaken—that’s what i’ve been perceiving, at least. my other favorite idiom is “a bit thick” which means… “gak tahu malu” in bahasa indonesia. it’s pronounced very funnily, in my opinion, i just love saying it for absolutely no reason. (sounds a lot more fun when there’s actually one) 🤣

To live is learn, and to learn is to live. Live. Learn.

coba figure it out hahhaha

Birds of a feather flock together. People always reach people who are similar to them.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Akan selalu ada hikmah pada apapun yang terjadi bahkan di sesuatu yang sulit.

Ignorance is a bliss. Sometimes not knowing what truly happens behind the scenes can give you the inner peace that you needed.
