If I have to lie, I probably don’t value them as a friend. I only lie my way out of meetings and dates and such if I don’t trust someone to understand and acknowledge what’s going on with my life. Hardly a friend.

Nope. I love that I’m regarding in such a way that they want to be in my company. It’s sweet to be thought of that way. Even if I don’t feel like it, I make myself go and I generally wind up having a good time.
