Calling a close friend. He's recently lost his father because of the corona. I didn't attend the funeral because of the COVID [and also because I live in a different city] but I somehow feel guilty that I wasn't there for my friend. I did call him once or twice after the funeral though but not since.

Work. I took off a day. They have a new sort of saw for my nerves.

Making a decision about a job I was offered - I would essentially be the CIO or IT Director or whatever they are going to call it officially, but I really really really don't want to be anybody's boss - I have one part-time assistant and she is awesome but I just feel, I don't know, uncomfortable about it, and a whole department sounds 100x as uncomfortable (I would in theory hire my assistant to keep working for me with the new company, there would probably be enough work for her to be full-time assuming she wants that) anyway I guess my career is stuck until I decide I'm OK being the boss
