How do you organize your playlists? I have just one that makes me feel joy. My daughter says it gives her musical whiplash from listening to the plethora of genres on my extremely long playlist.

The two playlists I actually use are my liked playlist and a playlist called "let's ride" for playing in the car with other people around. I don't spend time sorting the music I like. Also Spotify shuffle is terrible, annoying and I hate it.

I just counted, and I have 29 playlists. Most of them are genres, some of them are moods, a few are artists. I have one huge favourites playlist with all kinds of things in it. If I come across a song I really like I put it in there - so that it doesn’t get lost, more than anything.

I have two playlists. One is my Liked songs that I play on shuffle and the other is This Is Ben Platt on spotify

I admit I have only autotmatic playlists and almost never use them. When I DJ my music I select live what's next.

I don't - I'm the same... it's one monster list, I just hit skip if I really don't want to hear something in that moment, I like the contrast of styles, I lean into the chaos

I maintain two separate folders, one contains all music I find sufficiently good, and the other contains all music that I don't enjoy as much.

The playlists I derive from those folders are either based on the era I used to listen the songs (for nostalgia purposes), on their genre, or simply random selections of exceptionally good songs.

Lol. I really have only 2 playlists now.. My general walking/driving around music. And my workout list:)

I don't really use playlists, I just have one big directory of songs, with subdirectories for entire albums, songs I have lots of remixes of, and artists I have lots of songs by.

It's based on concerts I've been to, so it's based on where it appears on the setlist.
