On a scale from 0-10 (0=Not important at all) how important is it for you to travel, to see/visit other places?
2 - It's nice to visit interesting places, but I don't like to be away from home for more than a few days, and I struggle with changes to my routine.
About a 6. I'd really like to but it won't be a priority until I can actually afford it comfortably.
like 3. even if I had the time, money, and people to go with, I would almost never initiate plans to travel. I'm usually the one who needs to be convinced. when I see other people traveling it feels like a weird status move, where they're visiting primarily to just take little snippets of the most grandiose and touristy aspects of the culture/location and post it on their social media just to say "yea, I've been there." and then in a few months it's a "take me back 💕" post so we don't forget they had the privilege to travel.
if I ever traveled on my own accord I'd want to do it in a way that's respectful to the natives and their culture, and chances are I'd be discouraged by the amount of research that takes and then never do it
3, Sometimes i feel like people expect me to travel around the world, but atm i don't have the need for it. We should also think about that traveling around the globe is really bad for the environment and if everyone on earth would travel as much as people in the western society we would be fucked
2, I guess. I like seeing things, but traveling is expensive, and it's stressful imo, especially alone.
