Men with long hair, women with short hair. What do you think about all that?
People can have their hair how they want. As for my thoughts, it depends on the person. In general, short hair doesn't look good on women. I think long hair on guys is usually associated with a more laid back personality and that's true for me, I think. Some people look better with long hair, others with short hair. Some can go either way. Another thing is how long and how short. My hair is neck length I guess I'd say. I hate when women's hair is too short and looks like guy's hair. That's a turn off. I also hate when women shave the side of their head. It's possible for women to have shorter hairstyles that are still feminine and look good. I'm wondering if the shorter hairstyles that I'm thinking of would be considered long hair by others. That's the problem with this discussion. Where's the line between short and long hair? The original Gwen Tennyson has a shorter hairstyle that I like. I also like Sora Takenouchi's relatively short hair in Digimon.
Some can pull it off, depends.
no offense (and I mean full offense), but fuck heteronormative expectations of hair tbh. just have the hair that makes you feel good about yourself and take good care of it. people who have some shit to say about your hair are usually so insecure and stuck in tradition that they think women with short hair are an insult and are shameful. it's sad, it's pathetic, and I don't wanna hear it. remember this: 1) beggars can't be choosers, 2) mind ya damn business, and 3) make sure ya ain't balding if you're gonna cast judgment on someone else's hair
A woman could have a beautiful face and body, and it'd be completely canceled out if she had short hair. Short hair on a woman is a shame. Except when she's not attractive at all to begin with, then it doesn't matter. Long hair on a man is okay, maybe a little vain? I think it looks cool though, and I bet women (or some women) do too.
Dope.
I loved having a pixie cut. My face is chubbier now so doesn't work as well.
Fucking love shoulder length hair on men. Thats my jam.
As a kid, I was always excited to see people doing things I thought were different based on my limited experience with other humans. I remember the first man I saw in person with long hair, I was maybe 3-years-old, and I was so excited about it that I asked my mom why he had long hair because I had not previously known it was physically possible for a man to have long hair. But, the first girl I ever saw with short hair worked at Books-a-million and I knew her before she cut her hair. She had a traditionally masculine nickname, and she was incredibly nice. When I saw her for the first time with short I was so mesmerized by it that I stared directly up at it for the entire time my dad was getting checked out. She had it spiked because that was a big thing then, and it also made it look funner. Before we left she bent down and said, "I know you wanna touch my hair, go for it!" I did, and I grinned and laughed, and she grinned and laughed at me grinning and laughing. This was a big deal to me. It was one of the best interactions I ever had with an adult as a kid. I consider it one of the most positive transformative moments of my childhood. It was an actual adult engaging with me over a possibility I had not considered, even though it was as simple as a haircut. I think I would have been a much sadder little queer kid without her haircut.
I'm no longer an inexperienced child that genders haircuts, hair lengths are all normalized for me now. But what I think about "all that" is that a person cutting their hair because they want to, or growing it out because they want to, and sharing a little positive part of their identity that you may not be able to see or know otherwise, is good for everyone. I'm glad it happens, and it churns my stomach a little when I see people trying to discourage someone from something like that.
Women can be cute with short hair. Guys with long hair, ehhh i know i don't like long hair on myself.
Boy, men with long hair are my absolute weakness. Girls w short hair are def cute too. @slagathor wassup sis
